Energy Advisory Committee
Function: Claremont Energy Advisory Committee (the Energy Committee) is established to identify opportunities and make recommendations to the City Council regarding net metering, group met metering agreements or reimbursements, off-grid or on site (per unit) municipal solar projects, merits or risks of community power, and energy sustainability goals, as well as such other initiatives and assignments as may be determined by the City Council or the City Manager from time to time.
Appointed by: City Council
Term: 2-year terms
Meetings: Energy Advisory Committee shall hold meetings and public hearings as necessary to carry out its duties regarding the topics assigned by the City Council and the City, and develop reports and recommendations to the City Council.
